Will gynocologist will guide to help us to conceive?

We are trying since almost a year now and nothing happening yaar. Thinking of finally booking a gynac appointment but not sure if they actually guide on conceiving or only treat once ur already pregnant. Anyone went to one for this? what did they suggest
