Just got my positive test last week and im a bit nervous about everything. A friend told me some spotting can happen early but it scared me honestly. Wanted to know if this is common, planning to ask my doctor also.
Light spotting can happen for some in early pregnancy and is often nothing serious. But heavy bleeding or bleeding with pain is not something to ignore. Call your gynac straight away if it is more than light spotting.
My doctor told me light implantation spotting around the time of the expected period can be normal for some women. But she was clear that any proper bleeding must be reported immediately. So a little spot may be okay, real bleeding always needs a call to the gynac.
Please be careful with this, I had bleeding early and rushed to my doctor, and it was the right thing to do. Some bleeding is harmless but only a doctor can tell. If you see bleeding with cramps, don't wait, go in.
