A normal blood test, no. You need the beta hCG blood test, that is the one that detects pregnancy and even gives a number. Just tell the lab you want the pregnancy hCG test.
My gynac said a regular routine blood test wont confirm pregnancy, you need the specific beta hCG test for that. The general CBC type tests dont check the pregnancy hormone. So ask the lab specifically for the hCG test.
Right, the routine ones dont show it, the beta hCG is the pregnancy specific blood test. It can even pick it up a bit before a urine kit. Just request that particular test.
