I have a bad cold right now and im sneezing non stop, like really hard ones. Every time i sneeze i get this pulling feeling in my tummy and it scares me a little. Im 14 weeks, does sneezing harm the baby at all?
Dont worry beta, sneezing is completely harmless for the baby. The womb protects the little one well. Some women feel a sharp tug in the belly when they sneeze, thats just the muscles stretching, totally normal.
I felt that exact same worry when I sneezed hard and felt a pull in my tummy. I panicked but the doctor laughed kindly and said its 100 percent fine. Baby doesnt even notice it.
Sneezing doesnt affect the baby at all. The only thing some feel is a quick pinch in the round ligaments, especially later in pregnancy. Hold your belly if it helps, but no real harm. Relax.
