Theres a lot of stress at home and work these days and i cant always stay calm. Im 4 months pregnant and now im worried all this tension might be affecting the baby. Does it actually have an effect?
My gynac told me normal everyday stress wont harm the baby, but long term high stress can affect things like BP and sleep. She suggested light walks and talking it out. If the tension feels too much, do mention it at ur checkup, it matters.
Beta dont put pressure on urself thinking ur tension will harm baby, that's extra stress. Try to keep ur surroundings light, rest well. And if something specific is bothering u, share it, dont bottle it up.
I had so much anxiety through my pregnancy and i kept worrying that the worry itself is harming the baby, which made it worse honestly. A little stress is normal and doesnt hurt, but constant heavy tension isnt good for u. Pls talk to someone, even ur doctor, dont carry it alone.
Working and pregnant, i had plenty of stressful days. What helped was setting small boundaries and short breaks. Occasional tension is fine, just dont let it run nonstop, and loop in ur doctor if u feel overwhelmed.
Some tension here and there is part of life, baby is stronger than we think. I tried to do small breathing and prayer when my mind got heavy, helped me a lot. Just dont let it become a daily heavy thing.
