At my 20 week scan they said placenta is low lying and i got really worried after reading stuff online. My gynac said dont panic it usually moves up later but i still keep thinking about it. Did this happen to anyone, did it move on its own?

Yes it commonly appears to move up as the womb grows, so an early low position often corrects itself. Dont stress over the first scan finding. Just let your doctor track it at the next one.
My gynac explained the placenta doesnt really move, but as the uterus grows it often appears to shift upward. Mine was low early on and by the later scan it had moved up nicely. She said it's quite common, so dont panic at an early low placenta.
