This is my first pregnancy and im just trying to understand what to expect ahead. A friend mentioned she had some spotting and it scared me a bit. Does bleeding usually happen at some point or is it always a problem? Want to be mentally prepared.

I freaked out when i saw a little spotting early on, but doc checked and all was fine, it was implantation. So not all bleeding is bad. But still get it checked rather than guessing, okay.
I felt my heart drop when i saw light spotting in week 6. My gynac reassured me after a scan that baby was okay. Going in quickly really helped my mind.
Light spotting can happen for some, but any real bleeding should always be shown to the gynac immediately. I had spotting and going in early gave me peace of mind. Please never wait it out at home.
