My doctor clearly told me that while severe acid reflux can sometimes cause tiny streaks of blood due to throat irritation, actual vomiting of blood is a medical emergency. You must consult your obstetrician immediately to rule out any internal bleeding or ulcers.

In my experience, I didn't have any of the classic symptoms like nausea or vomiting in the beginning. I just felt a slight pulling sensation in my lower tummy and my periods were late. A quick test at home cleared all my doubts!

I would suggest being very careful because severe back pain can sometimes be a warning sign. Mine turned out to be a complication, so please don't ignore it if it's constant. Better to get a quick checkup done by your gynac.
