Wait until your period is actually missed by a day or two. Don't rush into testing too early as it only causes unnecessary worry. Stay calm and test with your first morning urine.
My doctor clearly told me that while severe acid reflux can sometimes cause tiny streaks of blood due to throat irritation, actual vomiting of blood is a medical emergency. You must consult your obstetrician immediately to rule out any internal bleeding or ulcers.
In my experience, I didn't have any of the classic symptoms like nausea or vomiting in the beginning. I just felt a slight pulling sensation in my lower tummy and my periods were late. A quick test at home cleared all my doubts!
I would suggest being very careful because severe back pain can sometimes be a warning sign. Mine turned out to be a complication, so please don't ignore it if it's constant. Better to get a quick checkup done by your gynac.
I am planning to test soon too and was wondering the same! Let us know how it goes if you test tonight.
