Avoid lying down immediately after meals and cut out all oily and spicy foods. Eat small portions every two hours instead of massive meals. If it gets unbearable, just ask your doctor for a safe syrup rather than suffering.
I was reading about this too! Some articles say they are great for labor, but is it safe to eat them in the first trimester itself? Let me know how you plan to eat them.

Please be extremely careful while climbing stairs, especially in the early months. Hold the railing tightly and walk very slowly. If you have any history of bleeding, pain, or high-risk complications, please ask your doctor if you should avoid stairs completely.
