I've been experiencing a lot of nausea and vomiting since my pregnancy started. Is it normal to have such severe morning sickness, and why does this happen during pregnancy?

Did a home test in the morning and the second line was super light, couldnt tell properly. Now im confused if its actually positive or not. Should I repeat it or go for blood test directly?
