Honestly, the only real way to know is through your regular doctor checkups and ultrasounds. Even if you feel totally normal, never skip your gynac appointments or scans because they are the ultimate proof of baby's growth. If you ever feel anything unusual like less movement or fluid leaking, just call your clinic immediately.
Tracking your fertile window on apps is helpful, but it is not 100% foolproof on its own. It is best to combine tracking with reliable barrier methods or talk to your gynac about birth control pills or Copper T. Modern contraceptive methods are very safe and effective.
I had some light pink spotting at 4 weeks and panicked so much! Did anyone else experience this early on? My gynac told me to come in for an early scan immediately, so please do call your doctor.
I remember crying my eyes out when my 5-week scan showed an empty sac. It was the most emotional week of my life, but my doctor was so validating. By week 7, we saw our beautiful baby's heartbeat. Stay strong, dear!
For me, because of my gestational diabetes, the doctor ordered a few extra growth scans in the third trimester to monitor baby's weight and amniotic fluid. Normally, they do about 3 to 5 scans. Make sure you keep your diet clean and follow whatever number of scans your gynac suggests for safety.
