Usually, a home test confirms it 5-7 days after a missed period.

My tracker app showed me the exact day of ovulation and advised testing at 4 weeks and 3 days. Standard rule is 14 days after ovulation or right after a missed period.

D and C is a small procedure to clean the uterus, usually after a miscarriage or incomplete one. I had to go through it and the doctor explained everything before. Pls talk to ur gynac so u understand why it is being advised for u.

I tested too soon and got upset over a negative, then it turned positive later. So I'd say wait for the missed period like everyone says. Did the morning urine thing actually help others get a clearer line?

Honestly this is a very normal question and nothing to feel shy about. For most uncomplicated pregnancies it is okay, but if you have a sensitive situation like placenta issues or threatened miscarriage, your gynac may advise caution. Best to confirm with your own doctor.
