Research shows that unripe or semi-ripe papaya contains high levels of latex, which mimics oxytocin and can cause early labor or spotting. My doctor explicitly told me to avoid papaya completely just to eliminate any risk. Ripe papaya is technically okay, but why take the chance?
I actually tried getting it during my 6th month. Many companies hesitate or load the premium because of pregnancy risks, so it's easier to apply before or right after delivery. But do check with a good agent once, mere case mein normal delivery ke baad smoothly ho gaya tha.
For me, I only started noticing it rising above my lower belly around the 4th month. Before that, it just felt like normal bloating.
It's best to check the bottle label first. As long as it is pasteurized or eggless, it is safe, but keep the portions limited.
