Having read so many posts about this, I can tell you that most moms face headaches due to tension or hormones. A simple warm compress helps, but never take any painkiller without asking your doctor first.
If you have bad morning sickness like I did, eating dry toast or biscuits first thing in the morning helps a lot. Focus on bland foods like khichdi and boiled potatoes, and don't force yourself to eat heavy meals if you feel nauseous.
I asked my dietician at the hospital about mangoes, and she said they are great but warned me about the high calorie content. She advised me to have it as a snack instead of eating it with my heavy meals. If you have gestational diabetes, definitely consult your doctor first.
