I'm so excited about my pregnancy and can't wait for my bump to show. Around what time or week does pregnancy usually start to show visually? I'm curious when I'll really look pregnant.
In my first pregnancy, it didn't show until the 6th month, but with my second, the bump popped out by the 3rd month itself! Your abdominal muscles are different each time. Don't worry about the size as long as your doc says baby's growth is normal.
Oh I remember worrying about this so much, thinking why my bump is so small. But trust me, once it starts growing after 6 months, it grows fast! Now looking at my running toddler, those bump-watching days feel so special.
I am also planning soon and always wonder about this. One of my friends didn't show till her 24th week and was still wearing normal jeans! I guess it really depends on your height and body structure.
For me, it started showing around the end of the 5th month, so I could easily wear my regular office kurtis till then. Every body is different, so don't compare. Just buy some loose clothes in advance so you are comfortable at work.
Haha, with all the golgappas and cheese parathas I've been craving, my belly started showing extra early! Jokes apart, the real hard baby bump came around the 5th month. Till then, it was mostly just bloating and foodie fun.
Honestly, in the first trimester, it only looked like I had a heavy lunch of chole bhature! The actual cute baby bump only showed up after 5 months. So chill, you get to hide it or flaunt it depending on your mood.
I felt so impatient to see my bump early on, but it finally started showing a bit around 18-20 weeks. I remember looking in the mirror every single morning waiting for it. It's such an emotional feeling when it finally pops out!
