According to medical terms, your fifth month starts when you complete 17 weeks. My doctor told me that week 17 to 20 is the fifth month. Track it by weeks rather than months, as gynacs always calculate by weeks for accuracy.
I panicked so much about this in my 5th week because I had some mild one-sided cramping. But my gynac did an early ultrasound and showed me the tiny sac right where it should be. It's rare, so just get an early scan done to ease your mind.
That must be such a beautiful and magical feeling. I hope to feel it myself very soon. Sending you lots of love and a happy pregnancy journey.
I also faced this, especially in my third trimester when my bump got really big. Walking slowly and keeping my head elevated with two pillows while sleeping helped me breathe much better. Keep positive, this is temporary!
I can't wait to experience that feeling! From what my friends say, it usually starts around the 5th month. Did it feel like flutters or sharp kicks for you guys?
