I am not a doctor, but my gynac specifically advised me to eat well-cooked boiled eggs daily for protein. I personally stayed away from half-boiled or poached eggs just to avoid any risk of salmonella.
I tracked my glucose daily on an app and realized that a 10-hour gap between dinner and testing is ideal. Try to log your food to see what spikes you, and definitely discuss the fasting readings with your doctor.
Irregular periods only make it slightly harder to calculate your exact due date. Once you are pregnant, it doesn't cause any direct problem to your baby.
Please don't ignore it if you feel the baby's movements are less or if you have any pain. While bump size can be small naturally, it's always safest to get an ultrasound done to check the amniotic fluid levels and baby's growth. Do check with your gynac once.
Honestly, the 2-week wait after ovulation is a special kind of mental torture, haha! You can technically test around 10-12 days after ovulation, but unless you want to squint at a ghost line and lose your mind, just wait for the full 14 days. Your sanity will thank you!
