I'm in my second trimester now, but my baby bump doesn't seem to be growing much. I see other pregnant women with bigger bellies at the same stage. Why is my pregnancy belly not growing? Is this normal?
Arey don't worry at all! 🤰 Some of us just have a retroverted uterus where the baby grows more towards the back side. As long as your doctor says the baby is healthy in the scans, enjoy your small bump while it lasts! 😄
Same here, I am 18 weeks pregnant now and my belly looks like I just had a heavy lunch! Honestly, I keep searching on Google and getting scared. Are you also in your second trimester? Let's hope our next scan shows everything is fine.
Listen, every woman’s body structure is different, so stop comparing your bump with others on Instagram. Some moms show very late, especially if they have strong abdominal muscles. Just get your regular ultrasounds done, that is the only real proof of baby's growth.
My MIL used to say that my stomach was small because of my tall height, and she was actually right. But I still trusted my gynecologist's measurements and scans more than anything else. As long as the doctor is happy with the baby's weight, you can relax.
I am still trying to conceive, but my sister went through this too. She was so worried because she looked completely normal till 5 months, but her doctor said it's totally fine. Sending you prayers, hope your scans are all perfect!
Please don't ignore it if you feel the baby's movements are less or if you have any pain. While bump size can be small naturally, it's always safest to get an ultrasound done to check the amniotic fluid levels and baby's growth. Do check with your gynac once.
I had PCOS and my bump barely showed until the 6th month, so I was constantly panicking. But my doctor assured me that as long as the scans show the baby's weight is normal, bump size doesn't matter. Just keep up with your regular checkups to be sure.
