I used to worry so much about eating til in my early months. But looking back now that my baby is a toddler, I realize a little bit in daily food is completely harmless. Just avoid taking it in large quantities.
A missed period is the main one, but don't rush for expensive hospital blood tests immediately. Just buy a cheap home pregnancy test kit first, it costs around 50-100 rupees and gives accurate results. If it's positive, then you can plan your doctor visits.
A bit of cold milk or chewing some fennel seeds works wonders for mild acidity. But listen, if you feel severe burning or sharp chest pain, please don't rely on home remedies and call your doctor immediately.
Along with the pills my doctor gave, I also make sure to eat lots of green leafy veggies, oranges, and dal which naturally have folate. It's a great excuse to enjoy some delicious spinach soup and citrus fruits!
