The medical store had both expensive and the cheaper strips, i picked up couple of the cheap ones. Now im wondering if they give the right result or if i wasted money. Anyone used the cheaper ones successfully?
Cheap ones are reliable enough for an initial check in my experience. But for final confirmation I still did a blood test through my gynac. Use the strip as a first step and confirm properly after.
Honestly the cheap strips worked perfectly fine for me, no need to buy the expensive digital ones. They all detect the same hormone. Just test after your missed period with morning urine and buy two to retest, saves money and stress.
The basic ones are quite accurate when used correctly, the price difference is mostly about fancy display and packaging. The key is timing, not cost. If you get a faint or confusing line, retest in 2 days or do a blood test.
