My MIL keeps saying avoid aloo it will make baby fat or something. But honestly potato is in everything we cook ghar pe. Is it actually fine to eat in pregnancy or should i cut down?
Aloo got me through my whole pregnancy honestly, aloo paratha was my comfort food. Totally fine to eat yaar, just balance it with veggies and dont go full fried snacks every day. Cravings are real.
Potatoes are fine in normal amounts, but since i had gestational diabetes i had to limit them. They spike sugar quickly. If you dont have sugar issues, enjoy them in moderation, just dont make everything deep fried.
