Was reading some mythology stuff and this thought came to my head about the 100 kauravas being born. Just curious if anyone has heard this kind of theory, asking out of plain curiosity.
It's a lovely old story but not actual biology. Real ectopic pregnancy is something we take very seriously and treat fast. So no, the Kauravas aren't that, just a legend.
Medically an ectopic means the pregnancy grows outside the womb, mostly the fallopian tube, and it can't continue safely. The Gandhari story with the pots and ghee is symbolic mythology, not a clinical case. People love drawing parallels but they're not the same thing.
Interesting one. An ectopic pregnancy is when the embryo implants outside the uterus, usually in the tube, and it's a serious medical emergency. The Kaurava birth is a mythological tale, so I wouldn't connect the two literally.
Haha the Mahabharata story is more mythology than medical yaar. The hundred Kauravas were said to come from one mass divided into pots, sounds more like a legend than ectopic pregnancy. Fun question though!
