Can 3rd week pregnancy is detected by ultrasound over belly?

I think im only around 3 weeks and im too eager to see something on scan. Wondering if the normal scan on tummy will show anything this early or its too soon. Anyone got a scan done this early?

Too early at 3 weeks for an abdominal scan. If you want early confirmation, do a blood test instead. Then let your gynac decide when the scan will actually show something useful.

Too early. Blood test is better at 3 weeks.

At 3 weeks its way too early for a belly ultrasound to show anything. A blood hCG test is the way that early. The scan becomes useful around 6 weeks for the sac and heartbeat.

I rushed for a scan way too early and saw nothing, then spiralled with worry. Doc said come back in a few weeks. Dont do what I did, that early its just too soon to see.
