My friend had an ectopic and I heard different things from people, so I am confused and scared. I don't want to ask her too many questions while she is upset. Can someone explain what it usually means?
My doctor explained that in ectopic the embryo implants outside the uterus, usually in the tube, where there's no space or support to grow. Sadly it can't survive and if left it can rupture and cause serious bleeding. That's why doctors act on it quickly.
Beta I know this is painful to hear, but an ectopic pregnancy can't be carried to term, and trying to would put you in real danger. Take care of yourself first. Many women conceive healthily again afterwards. Stay close to your doctor.
This is a really hard one and my heart goes out to you. From what my doctor explained to me, an ectopic can't be saved and the priority becomes protecting the mother's life and future fertility. Lean on your gynac and your loved ones, please don't go through it alone.
I'm so sorry you're going through this. An ectopic pregnancy unfortunately cannot continue, the baby can't develop outside the uterus and it's dangerous for the mother too. Please follow your doctor closely, they will guide the safest treatment for you.
