I got a faint second line yesterday and a clearer one today, but im scared to get my hopes up. Can these kits ever show positive when ur actually not? Want to know before i tell my husband.

False positives are rare, my gynac said they can happen with expired kits, evaporation lines read too late, or certain fertility medicines. Most positives are real. She always confirms with a blood beta hcg to be fully sure.
One thing, if you took fertility shots with hcg, an early test can show positive from the medicine itself. That confused me once. So always let your doctor confirm with bloods, it saves a lot of heartache.
Very uncommon honestly. The bigger issue is reading the result too late and mistaking an evaporation line as positive. Read within the time, and confirm with doctor if in doubt.
