Can abdominal massage decreases chances of pregnancy?
I've been doing some abdominal massages for digestion, but now I'm worried. Can abdominal massages potentially decrease the chances of getting pregnant or affect fertility? We are trying to conceive.
When we were trying, I was so careful about this. Gentle rubbing with oil is fine to relax, but don't do deep abdominal massages after ovulation. It's better to keep things natural and gentle.
Practically speaking, light massage is fine but heavy pressure during the luteal phase can be risky. We have limited time and tracking cycles is already a task, so why add extra risk? Just stay relaxed and skip the deep massages.
