Can antipsychotic medication taken during pregnancy?

I have been on medication for a while now and we just found out im expecting. Im scared to stop suddenly but also worried about continuing during pregnancy. I do plan to talk to both my psychiatrist and gynac, just wanted to know if any mom here managed this.

This is something only your doctor and psychiatrist can decide together, please dont stop or start it on your own. Suddenly stopping can be risky too. Speak to both your gynac and the psychiatrist so they plan it safely for you and baby.

First, taking care of your mental health is so important and there's no shame in it, I struggled too. Please dont stop your medicine alone out of fear. Talk openly with your doctor, they often adjust to the safest option during pregnancy.
