Sometimes i feel the kicks really high up near my ribs and other times much lower. Now im wondering if baby actually shifts up and down inside or im just imagining. Anyone else noticed this?
My gynac said the baby moves and shifts positions a lot, including upward, especially in the middle months when there is space. As you near the end the baby usually settles head down. She said the position changing is completely normal.
With twins it felt like a full gymnastics show in there haha, they moved every which way. Babies shift around plenty, up, down, sideways. Its normal, your doctor checks the final position closer to delivery.
I used to worry every time the kicks felt high up. My doctor laughed gently and said babies move constantly and that its a good sign. Try not to read too much into the position.
