Im 5 months and one yoga reel showed butterfly pose, looked easy na so I wanna try at home. But thoda scared if it puts pressure on pet. Anyone did this safely in pregnancy?
Is it really safe in the first trimester though? I am currently 14 weeks and wanting to start this but so scared of stretching too much. Has anyone done it daily without issues?
My gynac told me butterfly pose is super safe and actually helps in normal delivery. But she strictly said not to bounce too hard and always sit on a yoga mat so there's proper support.
I completely understand why you are asking, even simple stretches made me so anxious during my time. Start very slowly for just 2 mins and see how your body feels, it's actually very gentle.
Oh I used to panic even while bending a little bit in my 5th month! But then my instructor showed me how gentle butterfly stretch is and it completely cured my lower back pain, totally safe.
I used to do it slowly on days my nausea was a bit better, it really helps with pelvic pain. Just don't push yourself if u feel weak or pukish, listen to your body first.
This is great to know, honestly. I am trying to conceive and preparing a list of safe exercises for later. Do we need a trainer or can we just watch youtube?
