Can ceaserian possible at 29 th week of pregnancy?
Im 29 weeks and my doc mentioned baby might need to come early due to some complications. Honestly its scary to think of a c section this soon. Has anyone delivered around this time, how was baby?
Yes it can be done if the doctor feels baby or mom is at risk, its called a preterm caesarean. It usually happens only when medically needed though, and baby may need NICU support. Please follow whatever your doctor advises closely.
It is possible in emergencies, my cousin had one early because of BP issues. The baby was in NICU for a while but did well. Recovery is similar to a normal csection, just take it slow. Trust your medical team on the timing.
My doctor explained that early caesarean before term is only done when continuing the pregnancy is riskier than delivering, like severe preeclampsia or baby not growing. So yes possible, but its a medical call, not by choice. Discuss the reason with your gynac.
If your doctor is even discussing it at 29 weeks, there must be a reason and they will guide you safely. Babies born early can be cared for very well in NICU these days. Stay calm and lean on your doctor, you will be okay.
Medically yes, but its an emergency or high risk decision, not a planned thing usually at 29 weeks. The team would prepare for a premature baby. Whatever your specific situation is, only your obstetrician can guide that correctly.
