Curd rice is suiting me when I feel nauseous, but elders say avoid curd at night. I am confused because it feels cooling and easy to digest. Did you eat curd during pregnancy?
Haan beta curd is very good, fresh homemade dahi especially. It helps digestion and acidity which troubles so many in pregnancy. Just take it at room temp or slightly cool, not ice cold straight from fridge, and made from boiled or pasteurised milk.
Curd was a lifesaver for me when nausea and acidity were bad. A little dahi with rice settled my stomach so much. Just keep it fresh and not too sour. Helped me on days nothing else stayed down.
Of course, curd rice was my comfort food the whole pregnancy and my family swears by it for cooling the body. Fresh homemade curd is best. My doctor had no issue with it at all, just keep it hygienic.
Curd yes, its great, just go for plain unsweetened. With my GD i avoided the sweetened flavoured ones and stuck to homemade plain dahi. Good for the gut and easy on the stomach. Check with your doctor only if you have specific diet restrictions.
