Im someone who used to order food a lot before, and now im worried about eating baahar ka in pregnancy. Is it really that bad or thoda chalta hai sometimes? trying to control my cravings but its hard yaar.
Arey fully avoid karna toh mushkil hai, par cleanliness ka dhyan rakhna bohot jaruri hai. Safe side ke liye, Chinese food, uncooked meat aur street pani puri bilkul avoid karo. Agar bohot man kare toh achhe reputed restaurants se cooked items mangao aur enjoy karo.
I am currently trying to conceive and trying to build good habits from now itself. Maybe you can ask your family or husband to help make yummy home-made snacks like suji idli or home cakes? It is safer for the baby and keeps cravings in check too.
Honestly, preventing outside food cravings is a major struggle, especially when cooking feels like running a marathon! Mera 3rd trimester chal raha hai and I crave spicy chat every second day. Best is to make cleaner versions of street food at home, or strictly order only from very hygienic places.
Ordering outside food frequently not only affects health but also disturbs the budget we need for delivery expenses and pediatricians. I started meal prepping and keeping healthy snacks ready at home so I don't order out of hunger. Saving that extra money really helped us with hospital packages later!
Having had a history of PCOS, I had to be super cautious about sugar spikes and weight. Completely stopping outside food is hard, but we can limit it. I tried to stick to home cooked meals 90% of the time, and when we did order, I avoided raw salads or street side water to stay safe.
