Can endometrial thickness of 10mm means ectopic pregnancy?
My scan report says endometrial thickness 10mm and i got a positive test but they couldnt see anything in the uterus yet. Now im panicking reading about ectopic online. Im seeing my gynac in 2 days but cant stop worrying, has anyone been through this?
I cant say anything medical honestly, my own lining was around that range and my pregnancy was normal. Numbers can scare us for nothing. Better to let the doctor read the whole scan.
Endometrial thickness alone doesnt tell ectopic or not, please dont assume from one number. Ectopic is confirmed by where the pregnancy is sitting on the scan and your hcg trend. I had a scare like this, pls go to your gynac and get it properly checked.
My doctor explained that 10mm lining can be totally normal, it goes thicker around ovulation and early pregnancy. To rule out ectopic they look for the sac location plus do hcg blood tests, not just thickness. Ask your doc to explain your full report, not one line.
Beta dont panic over one measurement, I know it is scary to google these things. Let your gynac connect all the reports together. One number out of context rarely means anything bad.
