Can i drink disodium hydrogen citrate during pregnancy?
I've been prescribed disodium hydrogen citrate for some acidity issues. Is it safe to take disodium hydrogen citrate while I am pregnant, or should I avoid it?
Honestly, even I am researching what's safe and what's not for when I conceive. I read that we shouldn't take any such syrup or medicine during pregnancy without a doctor's prescription. Let us know what your doctor suggests!
I completely understand how stressful urinary issues or burning can feel, especially when you are pregnant. But please don't take disodium hydrogen citrate without asking your gynac first. Your peace of mind and safety are most important, so just call the doctor.
I always stick to simple walking and light yoga for minor discomforts, but when it comes to any syrup or medicine, I never take it without my doctor's green light. Pls ask your gynac before taking disodium hydrogen citrate.
My doctor explicitly told me that disodium hydrogen citrate is an alkalinizer and shouldn't be taken during pregnancy without medical supervision. If you have a UTI, your gynac needs to prescribe the right safe medication.
Never self-medicate with syrups like disodium hydrogen citrate during pregnancy. If you have burning urination, it could be a UTI, which needs proper diagnosis. Call your gynac immediately and get tested.
With twins, I had double the bladder pressure and double the UTIs! But my doctor warned me never to gulp down random chemist syrups without asking. Just call your doctor, they'll give you a pregnancy-safe solution.
