I'm having a lot of acidity and gas, and usually, Eno helps. Is it safe for me to drink Eno during my 8th month of pregnancy? I want to be careful with what I consume.
I had terrible acidity in my 8th month too and almost reached for Eno, but my doctor advised against it because of the high salt content. She suggested cold milk or a safe syrup instead. Please ask your gynac before taking it.
I had to be very careful with everything because of my gestational diabetes. Eno has sodium bicarbonate which can increase water retention and swelling, so it's not recommended in the third trimester. Ask your doctor for a safe alternative.
Since I had PCOS, I was extremely cautious about everything I consumed. Eno has high sodium content which can cause swelling or blood pressure issues, especially in the 8th month. It’s really better to ask your gynac for a safe antacid gel instead of having Eno.
I am in my second trimester and already suffering from bad acidity, but my doctor told me to avoid Eno because of the high sodium. Did anyone else get prescribed a safe gel or syrup by their gynac? It’s better to check with the doctor first.
Acidity in the 8th month is so tough! Instead of Eno, which has high sodium and can cause water retention, I used to do a gentle 15-minute post-meal walk (since my doctor allowed it) to help digestion. Do consult your gynac for safe acidity remedies.
When I asked for Eno, my saas told me to avoid it and gave me cold milk with fennel seeds (saunf) instead. Eno has a lot of sodium which isn't great during late pregnancy, so do check with your doctor before taking it.
