I use corn flour a lot in cooking and snacks at home. Now suddenly im doubting everything in my kitchen during these months haha. Is it fine to keep using or better to cut down?
I used it normally for cooking, like making a manchurian or thickening a curry. In those small quantities it is totally okay. Just dont live on cornflour heavy snacks daily, balance it out.
Since I had GD I watched my carbs, and cornflour is quite refined, so I kept it minimal. In normal cooking amounts it should be fine for most. If you have sugar issues, just keep an eye on the quantity.
Corn flour in cooking is fine, it is just a thickener used in small amounts. I used it in soups and gravies without any issue. Nothing to worry about there.
