I've been craving kakri so much lately, find it so refreshing in this heat. But someone in the family said raw stuff should be avoided in pregnancy. I'm in my first trimester. Is it safe to have or should I skip it?
Yes you can have kakri, its light and cooling, was great when I felt bloated and warm in pregnancy. Just rinse it properly before eating. Family always said its a good summer food for expecting moms.
Beta kakri is safe and refreshing, we always had it. Some elders say dont eat raw cold things late at night, so just have it during the day. Wash nicely and enjoy, it keeps you cool.
Haan kakri is totally fine, its just cucumber type, full of water and good for hydration. I ate it a lot in summer. Just wash it well and have it fresh, no issue at all.
Kakri was my go-to snack, low calorie, hydrating and fills you up. Perfect for those hungry-but-not-really moments. Just clean it properly and you're good to go.
