I'm really craving Manchurian, but I'm worried about eating outside food while pregnant. Can I eat Manchurian safely during pregnancy, or should I avoid it completely? Please let me know your thoughts.
I understand how hard those intense cravings can be, especially after such a precious journey like IVF. If you really want Manchurian, maybe make a clean, hot version at home without MSG. Take care of your health, you are doing great.
Please be very careful about where you eat it from. Street style Chinese food often has MSG and unwashed cabbage which can cause infections. I was extremely cautious during my pregnancy after my past loss, so I only ate freshly made hot food at home.
Actually, outside Chinese food can sometimes cause severe stomach infections or high BP due to MSG. Since I had complications during my pregnancy, my gynac strictly told me to avoid outside food. Please consult your doctor before eating street food.
If you are craving it, try to make it at home with less flour and sauce, as street food can spike your sugar levels. I had to monitor my sugar constantly, so I avoided outside Chinese food completely. Homemade is much safer for you.
Haha, the Chinese cravings are real! Just make sure it's from a good hygienic place and not some random roadside stall. Or even better, make your husband cook a safe version at home, he owes you that much, lol!
