Its summer and i keep craving cold tang juice so badly. But then i feel guilty thinking about all the sugar and the artificial colour and stuff. Is it ok to have once in a while?
I craved Tang randomly and had a glass once in a while, no harm done. But I tried not to make it a daily habit because its mostly sugar. Fresh nimbu paani scratched the same itch for me.
Tang is basically a sugary flavoured drink, so an occasional glass is fine but its not really nutritious. I preferred fresh juice or coconut water during pregnancy. If you have any sugar concern, check with your doctor first.
I had to avoid sugary drinks like Tang once my sugar was high. The added sugar adds up fast. For most women an odd glass is okay, but fresh fruit is a much better choice honestly.
