So i sing as a hobby and have some riyaaz daily, but now that im 4 months along my MIL keeps saying ke itna zor lagana theek nahi. Is there actually any harm in singing during pregnancy? Anyone else who continued?
I’m in my second trimester and I sing all the time in the shower! Does anyone else feel like they get out of breath faster while singing now, or is it just me?
Your baby might either become a rockstar or tell you to please stop, but physically it's totally safe! Just don't try high pitch opera notes if it makes you dizzy, haha.
After a long IVF journey, I was scared of doing literally anything, but music was my only therapy. Singing is incredibly soothing for your soul and totally safe for your little miracle, so please go ahead gently.
Oh absolutely, go for it! Singing is actually great for releasing happy hormones, so don't stress too much about what you can or cannot do, just enjoy your music.
Yes, it's safe! Just like doing light prenatal yoga or walking helps with breathing, singing helps with lung capacity too, provided your doctor has cleared you for normal activities. Don't overexert yourself though.
This is such a lovely question, I'm planning to conceive soon and I often wonder about these small details too. I’m glad to see it’s completely safe, must be so soothing for the baby!
My toddler now dances whenever I sing the same lullabies I used to practice during my pregnancy! It’s a beautiful way to bond with the baby in the womb, so enjoy it.
