Can i travel by flight in first trimester of pregnancy?
im around 8 weeks and have a flight booked for a family function. saas is saying avoid karo but i really want to go. did anyone fly early on, was it fine?
I totally understand how stressful it is to make these decisions when you are carrying a precious life. Generally flight travel is safe, but please do what makes your heart feel comfortable and safe.
Pehle teen mahine thoda dhyan rakhna chahiye behen. Doctor se pooch kar hi flight me jana, ghar ke bade bhi bolte hain ki shuruat me jyada safar nahi karna chahiye.
Oh, the first trimester is so fragile and you feel so exhausted. I traveled too and was constantly worried, so don't blame yourself for being anxious, but do ask your doc first for peace of mind.
Please do not take any travel decisions without consulting your gynac. I had some early spotting complications and my doctor strictly advised against flying in the first three months.
Double trouble meant double the worry, so my doctor banned me from flying! But jokes apart, if it's a single healthy pregnancy, flying is usually fine, just stay hydrated and walk a bit.
Unless you are planning to fly the plane yourself, it's usually totally fine! Just make sure you get an aisle seat so you can run to the loo every 10 minutes.
Usually elders in the family advise against long journeys in early months. But medically, my doctor said flight travel is perfectly fine if there are no complications. Do have a quick chat with your gynac.
