Im getting a lot of gas and the bloating feels heavy on my pet. Normally i rub axe oil but now im scared it might not be ok during pregnancy. Has anyone used it on tummy?
When I was staying at my mom's place, my nani strongly advised against putting strong medicated oils on the belly. She used to warm up some mustard or coconut oil for a gentle massage, which felt so comforting and safe.
Absolutely do not put Axe oil on your stomach, it has strong ingredients like camphor which are not recommended for the baby. If you have stomach pain or severe discomfort, please consult your gynac instead of self-medicating.
I totally understand how uncomfortable the stretching and body aches can get in pregnancy, dear. But please avoid putting strong oils like Axe oil on your stomach as the ingredients might not be safe for the little life inside; try gently massaging with plain warm coconut oil instead.
When I was pregnant, I wanted to rub balm on everything, but my doctor strictly told me to avoid applying strong essential oils or Axe oil directly on the belly. Now that my little one is a toddler, I realize it's always better to play it safe with just normal moisturizers.
Honestly, pregnancy makes us crave some weird things and sometimes we just want relief from all the bloating and stretching. But please avoid Axe oil on your tummy—better to have a nice warm bowl of ginger soup for bloating and use a mild cream for the skin!
