Can i use cor3 instead of folate during pregnancy?
My MIL had some cor3 tablets at home and she said i can just take those instead of the folate my doc mentioned. Im not sure if they are the same thing na. Planning to ask gynac but wanted to know if anyone has used this.
Please dont swap your folic acid for another product on your own. Folate is really important in early pregnancy and your gynac prescribed it for a reason. Show her the other tablet and let her decide if it can replace it.
Folate especially is one thing I wouldnt experiment with. Just confirm with your doctor whether that product covers the same thing. Quick question, big peace of mind.
I was on a few supplements and never changed anything without my doctor's nod. Different products have different doses, so it's not a simple swap. Ask at your next follow up to be safe.
