Im South Indian and idli with podi is my comfort breakfast. But podi is thoda spicy and oily na, so im not sure if its fine in pregnancy. Anyone still having it daily?
I panicked after eating spicy podi once thinking it would harm the baby, but my doctor laughed and said it is absolutely fine. Just don't overdo the spice.
Idli podi is generally safe as it's just roasted lentils and spices. But if you have severe acid reflux, your doctor will advise limiting spicy condiments.
