Can intercourse in early pregnancy cause miscarriage?
I'm newly pregnant, and my husband and I are a bit worried. Can having intercourse in early pregnancy increase the risk of a miscarriage? We want to be careful.
At my hospital, the gynac clearly told us that unless there is bleeding or a low-lying placenta, normal relations are totally fine. But it is always best to ask your own doctor during your first scan just to be 100% sure.
I had some bleeding in my first trimester, so my gynac strictly put me on pelvic rest. If you have any history of spotting, cramps or previous complications, please ask your doctor before doing anything.
Look, if your pregnancy is normal and healthy, it absolutely does not cause miscarriage. Your cervix is closed and baby is well protected. Just go slow and stop if you feel any discomfort or cramps.
No na, absolutely not! Baby is super safe in a fluid bag inside. Just make sure u are comfortable and don't take stress. Enjoy this beautiful phase with your hubby! ❤️
Arey my MIL and mother both strictly said no during the first three months, you know how traditional elders are! But actually my doctor said it's totally safe unless there is some issue. I just followed my doctor's advice silently.
We are also trying to conceive right now and I had the same doubt. My elder cousin told me that normally it is very safe, but we should just be gentle and careful in the first few weeks.
Honestly I also panicked and thought even a little movement would cause harm! But my doctor laughed and said the baby is very safely cushioned inside. Unless u have pain or spotting, there's really nothing to worry about.
