My first delivery was a c-section and now im planning for second baby. Wondering if the pregnancy itself goes on normally or do they treat it differently because of the previous lscs. Anyone with similar experience?
Yes you can have a healthy normal pregnancy after a C section. I had a section first and my next pregnancy went smoothly, just monitored a bit more. They usually advise a gap of a year or two for the scar to heal well. Talk to your doctor about the right gap and delivery plan.
It can be totally normal, but please go for regular scans because the scar needs watching. In my second pregnancy after a section they kept an extra eye on it and all was fine. Just follow your doctor's advice on the gap and checkups.
Absolutely. The pregnancy itself is normal after an LSCS, the main thing they watch is the previous scar. Some women even have a normal delivery after, called VBAC, if conditions allow. Your gynac will guide based on your scar and health.
