My nose is so blocked at night that i cant sleep properly, 2nd trimester chal raha hai. I have normal nasal drops at home but scared to use without asking. Anyone used these while pregnant?
Haan, normal saline drops toh safe hote hain, par medicated wale bina doctor se puche mat lena. Mera gala aur naak jab block tha, toh maine bas steam liya tha. Steam sabse best aur safe remedy hai na.
Please do not use any over-the-counter nasal sprays without asking your gynac first. Some decongestants can affect blood flow, so only use basic saline drops if your doctor permits it. Stay safe.
I am also dealing with a stuffed nose right now! Can we use normal otrivin or is only saline water allowed? I am planning to ask my gynac in my call tomorrow, safety first.
Plain saline nasal drops are usually very safe and quick for a blocked nose, but avoid any medicated decongestant sprays. I used saline drops at work to quickly clear my nose. Definitely double check with your doctor first.
My mother-in-law advised me to inhale steam with a bit of carom seeds for nasal block. My doctor also confirmed that only saline nasal drops are safe, not the medicated ones. Please trust your doctor's prescription.
Ho na, pregnancy me sardi-khansi bohot pareshan karti hai. Plain saline drops are totally fine, but medical drops like Otrivin should be avoided unless doctor says so. Take steam twice a day, aaram milega.
When I had a stuffy nose, my mom made me do steam inhalation twice a day and it worked wonders. She always said to avoid chemical drops unless the doctor explicitly writes them down. Try natural steam first!
I was so scared to use even normal saline drops when my nose was blocked! I kept calling my doctor's assistant to ask if it would affect the baby. Please don't take any risk, just ask your doctor directly before using anything.
Stay positive and take good care of your health dear. It is best to avoid strong medicated drops during this beautiful time. Just use warm saline water drops and pray for a speedy recovery.
I had a terrible cold right before my C-section, and my doctor strictly told me to use only basic saline drops and avoid OTC sprays. Saline drops are very safe, but please ask your doctor before using any specific brand.
