My allergies are acting up badly and i usually pop okacet for the sneezing. But now im 11 weeks and scared to take anything without asking. Planning to call my gynac but wanted ur experiences first.
Please dont take any allergy or cold tablet on your own. Only your gynac should decide which is safe for you and the right dose. A quick call is worth it.
Some antihistamines are allowed in pregnancy but only when a doctor prescribes them for you. Dont self take it even if you used it before pregnancy. Just ring your gynac and ask.
I had a lot of allergy issues too and I really wanted relief, but I waited and asked my doctor first. She gave me a safe option. Please dont guess with meds, I know it is tempting.
