I've been having a yeast infection and someone suggested the oral tablet but im 16 weeks pregnant and scared to take anything by mouth. I'll obviously ask my gynac before taking but wanted to know if anyone here was told its okay or not. pls share.
This is one where you must consult your gynac, oral and topical versions are not the same in pregnancy. They will pick whats appropriate for your trimester. Please dont rely on general info for this.
Oral medicines like this really need a doctors call in pregnancy, dont self prescribe. I had infections too and my gynac chose a safe option for me. Please dont take it without asking her.
I wouldnt take oral antifungal tablets on my own during pregnancy, please be careful with this. My doctor was very specific about what was okay for me. Please show your gynac before taking any such tablet.
