Can ovarian cysts cause missed period and positive pregnancy test?

I have history of cysts and now my period is missed plus the test showed positive. Im confused whether its real pregnancy or the cyst playing tricks. Have a scan booked with my gynac soon but till then, has anyone been through this?

With my history, cysts threw my periods off all the time, so a missed period from a cyst is very possible. But a positive test is usually real pregnancy. I wouldnt assume either way, get an ultrasound and let the doctor explain whats going on.
